Past Volunteer Events
International Primates Day 2018
Another successful event by the JGIS Team, with an inspiring film about gorillas with an opening speech from our guest, Dr. Shawn Lum. Special thanks goes to our volunteers who helped us throughout the event with ushering, registration and photography from the opening speech with Dr. Lum to our president, Andie, and her terrific overview of JGIS and its project. This day would not have been possible without these volunteers and on behalf of the entire JGIS family, we thank you and hope to see you soon!
Festival of Biodiversity 2018
Our members and volunteers help set a terrific interactive event to share with community members. Our volunteers took on tasks ranging from registration and photography to helping out within the workshop, teaching community members and presenting our works and conservation efforts. Once again, we thank you for your efforts and we hope had an amazing time at the event. See you soon!
Talk with Dr. Deus
We were thrilled to invite Dr. Deus Mjungu to give a lecture about primates to our supporting guests and volunteers. Special thanks goes out to our ushering, videography and registration volunteers who helped to ensure an incredibly successful event! From the opening messages from the JGIS team and throughout the lecture, we thank you as we would’ve been lost without you! We hope you can join us for another event in the future.
